Project: RAKE Work Camp Schedule

6:00 PM church groups arrive & check-in, unload bags, hang out in the game room.
7:00 Our youth ministry teens begin arriving & head to the game room.
7:30 Project: RAKE opening service begins (games, worship, message)
9:00 Service ends, free food in the cafe & more time in the game room
9:30 RAKE groups meet in the sanctuary for briefing
10-11 Free time for students... Crew chiefs go over final details of job sites
11:00 Lights out

6:00 AM Crew chiefs and adults meet at the garage to pick up materials & ask final questions about their sites
7:00 Students wake up
7:20 Everyone eats breakfast together
7:40 Final adult briefing on the schedule for the day
8:00 Everyone meets in sanctuary for opening service (worship song, message, final instructions)
8:30 Pickup lunches, water coolers & depart for job sites, eat bag lunches on site at crew chief's discretion
5:15 PM Meet at garage & dumpster to return unused materials, clean up, pick up stuff for Sunday, dump trash
5:30 Everyone meet for dinner
6:15 Leave for the YMCA to shower & have gym time
6:30 Crew chiefs meet in lobby of YMCA to go over what they accomplished, what they need in terms of materials & help and anything we can do to assist on Sunday.
7:30 Leave YMCA & return to the church
7:45 Brief message & 30 minute worship service.
9:30-11 Free time in game room, food in cafe
11:00 Lights out

6:00 AM Crew chiefs and adults meet at the garage to pick up materials & ask final questions about their sites
6:30 AM Students wake up, pack-up their bags & clean up the church.
7:20 Everyone eats breakfast together
7:40 Final Adult briefing on the schedule for the day & students finish cleaning church
8:00 Everyone meets in sanctuary for opening service (worship song, message, final instructions)
8:30 Pickup lunches, water coolers & depart for job sites, eat bag lunches on site at crew chief's discretion
4:10 PM Meet at garage & dumpster to return unused materials, clean up, dump trash
4:30 Everyone meets in sanctuary for team debrief of the weekend, "What did God do on your site?"
5:30 Groups are dismissed.

During a week long work camp, check-in day begins Tuesday around 5pm and the schedule is adjusted accordingly.  Wednesday,Thursday, Friday and Saturday of a weeklong follow the Weekend Saturday schedule.  On occasion, we are able to schedule a special activity on Saturday afternoon and arrange for only a half day of work.  The Sunday schedule remains the same.
